SKILLS FOR THIS WEEK:

Volleys: how to kick a ball when it pops up in the air. You will need an empty box or garbage can to use as a goal. Remember to point your toe and lock your ankle.

PRACTICE:

  • Warm Up: Running side to side, forwards and backwards, jog backwards and spin forwards to continue running

  • Warm Up: (this will need some space!) Bounce the ball on the ground, then kick it straight up in the air. See how high you can get it while keeping it going straight up and down.

  • Practice: Bounce the ball and try to kick it into your “goal” before it hits the ground. Use both feet and back up to make it harder.
